Smashing Pumpkins, well, Billy Corgan using the name Smashing Pumpkins have released another track off their unconventionally released ‘Teargarden by Kaleidoscope’.
The song 'Freak' is the Pumpkins-gone-pop with a bona-fide nana chorus and a melodic feel to it, but don't take my word for it, down the bottom of this article is a link to hear it, and four other songs from the album for yourself.In the meantime, if you live in the States, the Pumpkins kicked off their tour last night in Cleveland , OH and will head around the country until the finish in New York on July 28. Judging by reports from their warm up show last week at LA's Viper Room, the band are on fire.
The band will return to Los Angeles at the end of August to wrap up the third annual Sunset Strip Music Festival, playing outdoors at the street party.
