Retail chain Macy's has withdrawn a Sean Jean jacket after it was found that the jackset contained dog hair.
Sean Jean is the clothing label of music entrepreneur P. Diddy.The jacket, advertised as containing imitation rabbit fur did in fact contain canine fur from the raccoon dog. The jackets also had incorrect labeling.
The Humane Society tested the fur of the Sean John Hooded Snorkel Jacket and identified the substance.
Raccoon dog fur is mostly found in Chinese produced products. Animals killed for the furs are often violently abused and often skinned alive.
