Scotland’s biggest festival T In The Park has decided to ban the controversial vuvuzelas at this year’s festival.
The long, plastic horn that has caused so much controversy at the FIFA World Cup in South Africa has taken the world by storm and the festival organisers have decided to take a preventative measure. In an e-mail, the festival organisers said they weren't "suitable" for a music festival and plans to confiscate them from punters trying to enter with them.
iPhone users who really want to take your vuvuzela can opt for a vuvuzela app instead.
In the meantime, fans can check out Kasabian, Eminem, Muse, Jay-Z, Madness, The Prodigy, Florence & The Machine, Julian Casablancas, Echo and the Bunnymen and a hell of a lot more in the peace provided by thousands of screaming fans.
