New Yorkers were treated to a freebie from Eminem and Jay-Z on Monday. The superstar rappers performed from the rooftop of the Ameritania Hotel.
Eminem and Jay-Z performed on the Late Show with David Letterman Monday at the Ed Sullivan Theater on 54th Street, Manhattan. The theater shares a rooftop with the Ameritania.While the performance was meant to be a secret, word spread quickly and fans gathered for the free show.
Eminem kicked off the show with 'Not Afraid' from his new album 'Recovery'. Jay-Z then played 'On To The Next One' from 'The Blueprint 3'. They then did their duet 'Renegade' from 'The Blueprint'
While thousand gathered on the street, about 100 VIP guests including Sean 'Diddy' Combs, who happens to have an office across the street, watch on the rooftop.
