Sean Lennon, son of slain Beatle John Lennon, will release his second album and first new music in eight years this September.
The album, titled 'Friendly Fire', features a sound reminiscent of his late father's, going by the sample now posted at the Capitol Records website.A trailer for the album can be viewed at the website and features guest appearances from Carrie Fisher, Lindsay Lohan and Paul Simon's son Harper.
Lennon's last album, 'Into The Sun', was released on Grand Royal Records in 1998.
Meanwhile, Sean's half brother Julian is also working on new music. He writes at his official website that he has been writing in London with "a very respected songwriter".
Julian now lives in Italy.
