Stone Temple Pilots will be playing at Big Day Out 2010 if what STP’s Dean DeLeo has his way.
In an interview with Chris Schulz in New Zealand's Stuff DeLeo stated "I think we're going to head down right after the New Year, sometime in January ... I don't care if it's the Big Day Out. I just want to come down and play for you all."Stone Temple Pilots have never toured Australia or New Zealand. They were meant to but a little thing called Scott Weiland's drug problem overturned the planned tours on a number of occasions. Weiland did eventually make his way down under as a member of Velvet Revolver.
The DeLeo comment officially kicks off the Big Day Out rumours for 2011.
