Slipknot bass player Paul Gray died of a drug overdose, it is expected to reveal.
TMZ is reporting that according to a 911 audio recording, Mike Kellow, the hotel worker who discovered the body of Gray, called in that there was a hypodermic needle and pills in the room.Police have already said there are no signs of foulplay (meaning another person was involved in the death). An overdose is not considered foul play.
Gray was a founding member of Slipknot., predating singer Corey Taylor in the band.
The members of Slipknot held a press conference the day after Gray’s death to talk about their friend and band-mate.
