The Seattle Art Museum has today opened the doors to its Kurt Cobain themed exhibit, entitled ‘Kurt’.
The exhibit will run until September 6 and will feature works by artists who have used Kurt’s imagery to capture what the curator Michael Darling describes as “the ideals, aspirations and disappointments of the ’90s generation.”The exhibit will feature an audio tour and a cell phone tour where you dial a number upon entering and enter the exhibit numbers as you reach them. The works come from artists including Rodney Graham, Douglas Gordon and Elizabeth Peyton and including painting, film and other multimedia forms of modern art.
