The Temper Trap have achieved what was once the norm, and gone platinum.
This means the band have sold 70,000 copies within Australia - once worth half a nod of congratulations, now worth a huge party.Unless you’re U2, Pink or AC/DC, you don’t sell that many copies anymore.
So good on the Australian music buying public for keeping their album ‘Conditions’ in the top 20 for a staggering forty five weeks.
Now, can we continue this support of local acts? I hope so! Go to your local record store and buy your favourite local artists album RIGHT NOW.
