Neil Young has released a selection of songs for download to iTunes from the last 20 years of his Bridge School Concerts.
Neil and his wife Pegi have been putting on the shows to support the Bridge School, an educational program dedicated to ensuring that children with severe speech and physical impairments achieve full participation in their communities through the use of augmentative and alternative means of communication.Two of the Young's children attended the school.
Over the years, Bruce Springsteen, Bright Eyes, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Dave Matthews Band, Green Day, James Taylor, John Mellencamp, Lou Reed, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Phish, Red Hot Chili Peppers, R.E.M., Smashing Pumpkins, The Pretenders, Thom Yorke, Tom Waits, Wilco, Willie Nelson and dozens of others have performed at the shows.
