Devon Clifford, the drummer for Canadian band You Say Party We Say Die has died on stage at a gig in Vancouver at the age of 30.
You Say Party We Say Die were performing at the Rickshaw Theatre when Clifford collapsed after suffering from a brain haemorrhage.He was rushed to a nearby hospital but died the following day.
A statement at the band’s official record label Paper Bag Records said, “It is with absolute sadness to report that our dear friend Devon Clifford, the drummer of You Say Party We Say Die, passed away last night in a Vancouver hospital surrounded by his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
“We request that we respect the family’s privacy during this incredibly difficult time, and thank you for your support”.
