Soundgarden played a secret show on Friday night in Seattle. It was their first public appearance since announcing their reunion.
The Seattle band played at the Market Club. It was their first show together since the break-up just over 13 years ago last week.The gig was advertised as show by ‘Nude Dragons’, a clever anagram of Soundgarden.
However, there were obviously a few famous friends privy to the info before hand. See inside the gig were members of Pearl Jam, Mudhoney and Sub-Pop founder Jonathan Poneman.
The setlist was interesting. 'Black Hole Sun' wasn't there but they did do both the A and B sides of their very first single 'Hunted Down'/'Nothing To Say'.
They also revolved the set around their early indie releases on Sub-Pop, the 'Ultramega OK' and 'Louder Than Love' albums.
