Pete Doherty will celebrate not being charged with joyriding by playing a secret gig in London.
The man who has a patent on the term 'troubled rocker' was arrested in the early hours of Saturday morning after a car in which he was a passenger attempted to outrun police in London.Police will only press charges on the driver of the vehicle, 35-year-old Redouane Aalit. It will be a load off the mind of the Babyshambles frontman as he prepares his band for a not-longer-secret gig at notorious North London boozery The Boogaloo for January 15.
MTV-UK report that Doherty is a regular at the bar, which was once the scene of a reunion between Doherty and ex-Libertines bandmate Carl Barat.
