Madonna won few fans at the British Comedy Awards in London on Wednesday, though we're wondering why someone who's never made a joke in her life was asked to be at the event.
Madonna attended the event at London's Television Centre to present the Ronnie Barker Award to Sacha Baron Cohen, the man behind the moustache of Borat. However, it turned out to be Madonna herself on the receiving end, courtesy of sharp-tongued host Jonathan Ross.Ross decided this would be a good time to broach the Madoption subject. "Congratulations on your little lovely black baby, David," the comedian quipped. "Are you stopping there, or getting more? When I went to Africa all I got was a wallet."
Madonna's retort? "You might go home with a black eye." A clearly unimpressed Madonna - who had hassled organisers to provide her with a secretive entrance to the building and refused to associate with the other celebrities at the event - was on her way before the after-party even began.
