Already announced for the Vivid Live festival at the Sydney Opera House, Rickie Lee Jones has now announced a run of dates across the country.

Jones will be touring in support of her fourteenth studio album ‘Balm In Gilead’, which came out last year and there is promise that she will play tracks “from her extensive back catalogue” as well.

Her self-titled debut came out in 1979 and catapulted her to fame, helped by her associations with already successful singer songwriters like Tom Waits, Dr. John and Randy Newman.

Joining Rickie on stage will be electric bassist Jose Maramba and drummer/keyboardist Lionel Cole.

You can check her out at any of the following venues:

MAY

26 - Concert Hall, Perth, WA
28 - Opera Theatre, Sydney Opera House, Sydney, NSW

JUNE

1 - Her Majesty’s Theatre, Adelaide, SA
3 - Forum Theatre, Melbourne, VIC

Presale tickets for all shows except Sydney go on sale this Friday, April 9 at midday and general tickets are on sale April 12 at 9am.

Tickets to the Opera House show are on sale now and can be booked by calling (02) 9250 7777 or by going to the Sydney Opera House website.
