Oasis will release their first Greatest Hits album soon.
‘Time Flies’ will feature all of their singles except 'Sunday Morning Call' concluding with their final single ‘Falling Down’.The tracklisting will be chronological from ‘Supersonic’ in 1994 through to ‘Falling Down’ in 2008.
The album will round off the Oasis career after the band disintegrated last year.
It marks an incredible collection of songs from the self-proclaimed greatest rock band in the world. “We’re not arrogant, we just believe we’re the greatest band in the World,” Noel Gallagher once said. His younger brother Liam who went on to become one of the ‘greatest frontmen of all time’, once remarked, “There’s Elvis and me. I couldn’t say which of the two is best.”
Despite the egos, The Gallagher Brothers were happy with their outlet. “I’m totally proud of everything we’ve done... I liked the crazy times and the not so crazy, I liked it all, man,” Liam says. And Noel Gallagher sums it up by saying, “The fact that we kept it together for so long is testament to our love of the music. It’s from the heart.”
