Harper Simon, the son of Simon and Garfunkel legend Paul Simon, is the new kid on the block.
37-year old Harper has just released his debut album and it sounds a lot like his dad. In fact, his very first appearance was with his dad on Sesame Street singing ‘Bingo’ when he was 4-years old. At age 12 he also played guitar on dad’s ‘Graceland’ album.The album stylings are also a lot like his fathers. Harper Simon has that Paul Simon country/rock sound.
The album features his father on the song ‘The Shine’ which was also co-written by Harper, Paul and actress Carrie Fisher.
The ‘Harper Simon’ album also features Sean Lennon on a number of tracks.
