Legendary actor Dennis Hopper, who has been given little time to live after suffering from terminal prostate cancer, will be given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame tomorrow (March 26, 2010).
The actor is said to weigh around 43kilos (100 pounds) and is now unable to undergo any more chemotherapy as the disease takes its toll.The 73-year star of Easy Rider will be on hand to unveil his star outside the Egyptian Theatre on Hollywood Blvd. Actor Viggo Mortensen will induct Hopper. It may be his last ever public appearance.
The ailing actor, who has just weeks to live according to reports, made the bizarre decision just a month ago to file for divorce from his wife Victoria Duffy. He has also had her taken out of his will.
As well as Easy Rider, Hopper starred in ‘Rebel Without A Cause’ (1955), Apocalypse Now (1979) and ‘Speed’ (1994).
