Crowded House have severed ties with EMI Records to release their next album through Universal.
The sixth Crowded House is titled ‘Intriguer’.The album, featuring the line-up of Neil Finn, Nick Seymour, Mark Hart and Matt Sherrod and produced by Jim Scott and Neil Finn, will be released in June.
“I look forward to a long and productive relationship with Universal Music, who are obviously the music company setting the benchmark now. We're delighted to be in the company of music-loving people who believe in us and are eager to spread the word,” Neil Finn said in a statement.
‘Intriguer’ was recorded at Neil’s Roundhead studios in Auckland.
Crowded House formed in 1985 and have sold more than 10 million albums worldwide.
