Cassette Kids Head To Austin

Sony signing Cassette Kids will be one of the showcase acts at SXSW this week in Texas.

The Sydney band so far has a short story. They formed less than two years ago.

Since then they have won a Triple J Unearthed contest, toured with The Presets, Lily Allen and Ben Lee and signed with manager Titus Day (Guy Sebastian).

The debut album ‘Nothing On TV’ will be released in April through Sony Music.

Cassette Kids official SXSW showcase will Thursday Macrch 18 at 11pm at the Karma Lounge.

They will also play at the Aussie BBQ at Maggie Mae’s on Saturday.
