Grimy blues rock quartet 84 launch their debut album before they head to Canada.
After grinding it out in live venues around Australia for the past five years, these swaggering blues rockers have finally released their debut album 'You, Me And Infamy'. Armed with a rousing blend of '70s rock, Delta blues and garage punk 84 signed to Warthog Records and they'll launch the record at Melbourne's Ding Dong Lounge on May 18.84 then prepare for their trip to Canadian music conference North By Northeast by playing the New Found Frequency launch on May 24 at Melbourne's Revolver Upstairs club with evil electro-rockers Konqistador and acoustic singer songwriter Anita George. Then 84 farewell their hometown with an infamous Pony 2am slot on June 2.
This is 84's second trip to Canada. They play a NXNE showcase in Toronto and a New Found Frequency showcase in Windsor. Then they return quick smart to play Geelong's Barwon Club on June 15 and grant themselves a well-deserved break until July 14 when they head to Adelaide's Crown & Anchor.
