If you saw the CSNY film `Deja Vu` then you will be familiar with Josh Hisle. Hisle was the American soldier portrayed in the Neil Young movie.
Josh Hisle was a marksman in the American Army for unit Fox 2/5, deployed to Iraq. His unit was one of the first to invade Iraq.As well as fighting in the army, Hisle performed for the troops.
As Josh witnessed the violence in Iraq his music changed and his lyrics became a protest against the invasion.
Now Josh has the band Lost In Holland and is signed to Neil Young’s Vapor Records. He will perform with Lost In Holland at the Vapor Records showcase on Wednesday night at Maggie Mae’s in Austin.
