Australian garage band The Chevelles will join Undercover`s Paul Cashmere for an interview from the SXSW studio in Austin on Friday, March 19.
Duane Smith formed The Chevelles in Perth, Western Australia in 1989. In 2008, they signed with Little Steven’s Wicked Cool Records for the USA.The SXSW showcase gigs are part of a complete US tour that starts this Saturday (March 13) in Las Vegas.
The Chevelles will also perform at the Aussie BBQ Showcase at The Echo in Los Angeles this Sunday and the Aussie BBQ showcase at The Bell House in Brooklyn on March 25.
At SXSW, The Chevelles will perform at the Paisley Umbrella Showcase on March 17, the official SXSW gig on March 19 and at the Aussie BBQ showcase at SXSW on March 20.
