Former NATO peacekeeper James Blunt has raised $205,000 for relief agency Medicins Sans Frontieres.
It's been a spectacular year for the warbling Englishman. He witnessed the group's work while working for NATO as part of the British Army in Kosovo.
Blunt has so far raised $205,000 for the organisation via his 'Back To Bedlam' world tour and more specifically through personal meet-and-greets organised after the shows. Blunt auctioned off the one-on-one meetings after every single show and one recent auction earned a whopping $8,600 in a single night.
'Back To Bedlam' has already gone eleven times platinum around the world. While Blunt has won Best Newcomer awards in Germany and France and the World Music Awards this year, his debut also scored Worst Album in NME's 2006 list.
