Pixies To Release Live Australian Albums

Pixies will record every show on their upcoming Australian and New Zealand tour and make the recording available at the end of each show.

Abbey Road Live will record the Doolittle Live shows and from February 25, fans will be able to order the recording online before the show and take it home with them.

Each package will be a 2CD set and sell for $AUD30.

Abbey Road Live recorded the Pixies on their American tour but this is the first time the company has offered the service in Australia.

In addition to the live albums, Abbey Road Live has also released a free Pixies mobile app for both iPhone and Blackberry. The Apps are available now at iTunes and App World.
