Courtney Love has blasted Lily Allen from stopping her wearing a Chanel dress to the BRIT Awards.
On Absolute Radio this week, Courtney said, "I wanted a Chanel couture dress but Lily Allen blocked them out. And that's lame, because I remember J-Lo had a lock out on Valentino one year but she shared with me."Of course what Courtney didn’t say was that she was after the dress for free from Chanel.
Awards shows and red carpets have deteriorated to nothing more than product placement shows for fashion designers in recent years, and quite frankly, considering it is all about marketing, can you blame Chanel for putting their dollars with Lily and not Courtney?
As Lily Allen had the exclusive deal with Chanel, Courtney was only blocked out from scamming a free dress for the show. If Courtney just spend a few bucks from her Kurt Cobain widow fund she could have afforded to wear any dress she wanted and Lily Allen couldn't have done a thing about it.
