The Hitmen are getting back together and artist Niagara will be joining them on the road.
The Hitmen first surfaced in the last 70s from the ashes of Radio Birdman lead by Johnny Kannis. His original solo recordings featured Birdman minus Denis Tek as his backing band.The first era of The Hitmen lasted from 1977-1984. There was a second incarnation from 1989-1992.
Kannis and Chris Masuak reformed the band for the occasional one-off show in 2007.
Musician and painter Niagara fronted punk bands Destroy All Monsters and Dark Carnival.
In 2008, she played a sold-out show in Sydney as well as putting her art collection on sale at the Outre Galleries.
