As we head towards the release of a new Jimi Hendrix album `Valleys of Neptune` Undercover is focusing on a track each day.
‘Bleeding Heart’ is a song fans will know from his live albums and a previously unreleased version is included on ‘Valleys of Neptune’.This cover of the classic blues song by Elmore James is different entirely from the versions featured on South Saturn Delta and originally on War Heroes. This recording has never been issued and features Jimi, Billy Cox and drummer Rocky Isaac. It was recorded in April 1969.
