Robert Gordon & The Band They Couldn`t Hang may surprise you. We toss the term supergroup around all the time these days but these guys really qualify as a supergroup.

Rockabilly legend Robert Gordon fronts the band. He wrote and recorded ‘Red Hot’ back in 1977. It was remade by Jimmy Barnes last year.

The Band They Couldn’t Hang also features Glen Matlock from the Sex Pistols, Slim Jim Phantom from the Stray Cats and guitarist Chris Spedding.

Robert Gordon and the Band They Couldn’t Hang will play Bluesfest over Easter as well as:

April 2, Melbourne, The Corner Hotel

April 3, Sydney, The Metro
