Rodriguez will perform a second Sydney show on his upcoming tour for Bluesfest.
As well as Bluesfest at Byron Bay on the Easter long weekend, Rodriguez will be travelling to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide for additional shows.The former social worker found fame in Australia when Sydney DJ Holger Brockman started playing his music on the radio.
Australia became the big market for the introverted singer who did eventually visit the country for the first time in 1979 and again in 1981.
After that he went back to doing what he knew best, working for a living and took a job as a labourer in Detroit.
As well as his Bluesfest date, sideshow dates for Rodriguez in Australia are:
