INXS will make an appearance with Rob Thomas tonight at his Melbourne show at Rod Laver Arena.
Thomas and INXS recorded a cover of the INXS classic ‘Never Tear Us Apart’ last year for a soon to be released album from INXS and special guest vocalists.Thomas recorded ‘Never Tear Us Apart’ for the album.
Rob has had a long association with the band. Matchbox Twenty played ‘Never Tear Us Apart’ and ‘Don’t Change’ occasionally.
INXS drummer Jon Farris even popped up once on stage in Australia.
The tribute album will also include vocals from The Killers Brandon Flowers, Gabriella Cilmi and Eskimo Joe’s Kavyen Temperley.
INXS are planning a world tour to start in Vancouver this year.
The Rob Thomas and INXS performance tonight will be the only time this will be done on the tour.
