Midnight Juggernauts are the last minute replacement for Echo & Bunnymen for the Laneway Festival tomorrow (Saturday, January 30).
Echo & The Bunnymen were scratched from the line-up today after singer Ian McCulloch failed to make the flight from London yesterday.The Laneway announcement reads “The Laneway Festival regrets that Echo & the Bunnymen are no longer to play the Melbourne Laneway Festival tomorrow. Lead singer Ian McCulloch, who was due to arrive in Melbourne tonight, has missed his flight from London and won't make it to Australia in time for the scheduled performance. At this stage, all other Echo & the Bunnymen performances are due to go ahead as planned.
We are very pleased to announce that Melbourne party knights MIDNIGHT JUGGERNAUTS will be performing in their slot”.
Florence and the Machine will headline Laneway tomorrow.
