Apple has once against revolutionised computer technology with the iPad.
Apple CEO Steve Jobs launched the iPad tablet today.Basically, it is a 10-inch iTouch.
The iPad is positioned between the mobile device and the laptop.
It is the size of a small laptop, it weighs less than one kilo and it has the functionality of the iTouch and iPhone such as touch screen and the ability to reposition the content of the screen depending how the user is holding it.
The iPad has been priced between $500 and $800 in the USA depending on specs such as size of hard-drive and if you require 3G.
Apple is expected to sell up to 5 million of the devices in the first year.
