Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie seem to be getting a chuckle about news of their break-up. Of course, this perspective does depend on which newspaper you are reading today.
The Daily Mail today says that when news of the break-up occurred the couple where having “an intimate dimmer in a Los Angeles restaurant”.The story is based on a claim by an unnamed source but even funnier was written by an unnamed writer. It is credited to “Daily Mail Reporter”.
What is really incredible is that in paparazzi driven Hollywood every single snapper must have had the night off that night because not one picture of the couple together has emerged. Surely someone will be fired at TMZ over that.
The unnamed writer with the unnamed source goes on to say that the couple did meet with lawyers in December to draw up a separation agreement but it was more about formalising a pre-nup.
Pitt was also reported this week to have spent $1.2 million of a Hollywood Hills bachelor pad, complete with a cave.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been together since they met filming Mr and Mrs Smith in 2004. She was previously married to Billy Bob Thornton. He was previously engaged to Gwyneth Paltrow.
