Simon Cowell has gathered Rod Stewart and Michael Buble as well as his own stars Susan Boyle, JLS and Leona to cover the R.E.M. classic `Everybody Hurts` to raise money for Haiti.
Cowell approached people like Paul McCartney, Coldplay and Robbie Williams to be part of the song.Cowell told The Sun that he put the whole thing together in just 48 hours after a request from the British Prime Minister.
He says the song will be released in the next 7 to 10 days.
Meanwhile, Lionel Richie and Quincy Jones are also working on a new version of ‘We Are The World’. Usher, Natalie Cole and John Legend are expected to be some of the voices you will hear on that record, also due over the next week.
