Those fed up with the Byron Bay Blues and Roots festival's ever improving lineup being split into several sideshows by the time it hits Melbourne can now rejoice.
Point Nepean - A Music Experience is a new festival that will happen in Victoria on the Mornington Peninsula over the Easter weekend in 2007, with many of the bands in the country for the Byron Bay Blues and Roots festival.So far, you can expect to see Missy Higgins, Amos Lee, Taj Mahal, Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals, The Refugee Allstars of Sierra Leone, Ben Kweller, The Waifs, Dallas Frasca, Paul Greene and "many more".
The festival is on a heritage listed site at Point Nepean and historical tours will be available to concert-goers.
The festival will happen on April 7th and 8th next year. Tickets are on sale Thursday, December 6.
