Billy Corgan has put another new Smashing Pumpkins song on the bands MySpace page.
Corgan plans on released 44 new Smashing Pumpkins songs across 11 EPs over the coming year and then compiled as the album ‘Teargarden By Kaleidyscope’The new song is a slower shade of Corgan titled ‘Widow Wake My Mind’. It is a very different sound to the first track released called ‘a Song For A Son’.
So far, Smashing Pumpkins are 5 songs into the mammoth 44-song project.
Two other tracks ‘Astral Planes’ and ‘A Stitch In Time’ will be part of the first EP.
As well as working on Smashing Pumpkins material, Corgan has also started a record label to release other acts.
This tribe features the bands Fancy Space People, YaHoWha 13 and Starchildren as well as old acts reactivating old acts The Germs, The Electric Prunes and Strawberry Alarm Clock.
New music from all will be coming this year.
