For too long now many people have been talking about Woodstock Festival – however Australia has finally found something better in one Sydney Band and their psychedelic tracks. That's right, we're talking about The Model School.

The band has just this month released their latest album 'Backwards Down The Highway' and it has reviewers from all over the world raving! (And we're about to rave too! Just in case you didn't already figure that out!)

This album can only receive praise and good graces.

'Backwards Down The Highway' is a collection of quirky ballads. Each track a piece of immense imagery that reveal's a story. The production of the album is quite colourful. It's almost strange to think that this is something that came out of such a youthful band as it is so comparable to music of the 60s.

If you're looking for something that is mellow yet meaningful then this is the album for you.

The Model School are probably the most innovative assortment to have come out of the Sydney music scene in quite some time. In fact it would not be a far stretch to say that they are pioneering something new for Australian talent to aspire to.

We can't wait to see what The Model School do next! It is beyond evident that they are on the verge of something big.

The song to look out for on this album is definitely 'Desert Flower' because it is more of a story than a song. It is beautiful, relatable and is the perfect introduction to 'Backwards Down The Highway'.
