As Snoop Dogg's new album debuts in the US Top Ten, he gets arrested again.
Following the taping of a performance for NBC's 'Tonight Show With Jay Leno', Snoop and two members of his entourage were taken into custody after Los Angeles police arrested them on suspicion of drug possession and weapons violation.Reports say that Snoop was booked on $60,000 bail and cameras were at the ready once again as he emerged from Burbank city jail. The LA Times reports that a previous incident led to search warrants for Snoop's home and car, the searches leading to seizure of a handgun and narcotics, which led to the arrest.
Those previous incidents prove that Snoop is one rapper still keeping it "street". In September, he was discovered trying to take a collapsible baton on a flight to New York and faced charges of possessing a deadly weapon. Then last month he was arrested on suspicion of illegal drug and gun possession at a Burbank airport.
In more positive news, his latest album 'Tha Blue Carpet Treatment' debuted at number five on the US charts this week.
