Gwen Stefani stories abound as she prepares to release her new album.
Stefani is currently promoting the follow-up to her 2004 hit album 'Love. Angel. Music. Baby', called 'The Sweet Escape', due out early December. News reports abound that after this album is released Stefani will a) rejoin No Doubt, b) quit pop music altogether to be a full time mum and c) have dinner with former rival Madonna.Stefani recently told MTV Europe, ""I can't predict anything, but I don't plan on making another one of these solo dance project records. I definitely feel myself going back to No Doubt after this to do a No Doubt record."
Next, she indicated that she was far too clucky to do anything after 'L.A.M.B'. She was quoted as saying, "It's all I ever thought about. I would love to just sit at home with [son] Kingston and eat pizza."
Then Stefani refuted any suggestion of a rivalry between her and fellow pop queen Madonna, telling Australia's Daily Telegraph "She's been nothing but nice to me, She's invited me to her house for dinner ... and clearly she's a huge inspiration musically.''
