Melbourne buzz band The Wellingtons has made the Triple M playlist.
After being added to Austereo’s Radar digital service earlier this year, the mainstream Triple M network is now playing The Wellingtons ‘Come Undone’ in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.“The Wellingtons are just one example of the great depth of talent we have in the Australian music scene that, up until now, has been mostly ignored by mainstream radio,” says Radar content director Jaime Chaux. “Radar Radio is proud to play more new music than any other station, and provide ongoing support to artists like this”.
Zac Anthony of The Wellington’s says “Radar Radio is offering a window for deserved, independent bands to gather commercial radio play that would have seemed almost impossible in the past. That's a great thing for the future of Australian radio and Australian music.”
‘Come Undone’ is from the third album for The Wellingtons titled ‘Heading North For The Winter’.
