Elton John has been out of the closet for decades. Now his clothes are too. Sir Elton had a charity auction on the weekend. He sold off hundreds of his clothing items.
Elton’s Out of the Closet auction raised money for the Elton John AIDS Foundation. It was the fifth time he had held a clothing auction for the charity.Items ranged from designer jackets, to shoes, bags and blazers.
One Burberry coat sold for over $3000 while a pair of blue boots sold for less than $100.
Everything was designer clothing, There was Prada, Dior, D&G and of course, Versace. Gianna Versace was one of Elton’s closest friends.
