Lou Reed has released an iPhone app and you’ll never guess what it does.
Reed’s app - which is called LouZoom, just zooms your contact list. That’s it. No music. No artwork. No scathing remarks to journos from Lou himself. Nothing. It just zooms your contact list.So how does it work? According to the app's page on loureed.com, “once you select a contact, you'll see all the vital details on a single page. Multiple phone numbers? No problem. Just swipe left and right to page through multiple addresses, phone numbers or email addresses.”
It also says that “with Lou Zoom, your contacts have never been this beautiful, or this huge and legible!”
I guess people don’t realise that double tapping with three fingers on any iphone page will zoom in? I guess that old triple-finger-double-tap method isn’t a “contemporary take on classic Modernist design” that “turns heads as quickly as it dials phone numbers.”
Well that app sure has saved my life.
