Biffy Clyro Australian Tour Cancelled

Biffy Clyro have had to cancel their upcoming Australian tour because of unforeseen health issues.

A statement at the Biffy Clyro site reads, “It is with great regret that we must announce the postponement of the band's shows in Australia and New Zealand, scheduled for around the New Year”.

“Unfortunately, it is the case that both Simon and James require minor medical procedures, for conditions that whilst not yet serious, will become debilitating if not attended to. It has become apparent that the only window that these operations can take place, will be in the same period that we were planning to perform in Australia and New Zealand”.

“We are planning to announce rescheduled dates in both Sydney and Melbourne very shortly, and are currently aiming to be back in Australia in early May, and hope to expand our tour beyond the original 4 shows”.

“We send our profuse apologies to everyone concerned, and will be back with information on the rescheduled shows very soon”.

The band was due to perform in Melbourne on January 2 and Sydney on January 3 as well as at the Pyramid Rock Festival over New Year.

Fans who cannot wait for revised dates are entitled to a full refund.
