Eskimo Joe frontman Kav Temperley is one of 12 songwriters shortlisted for the first Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition.
A panel of judges including Jenny Morris, Tim Finn and Iva Davies selected the final 12 from more than 3000 entries.The Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition was open to new and established songwriters. Proceeds from the song entry fee will go to Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy.
The winner will receive a $50,000 prize package which includes $20000 cash and a songwriting mentorship with hit songwriting legend Paul Williams.
