Jason Donovan says he was asked to come back to Neighbours to reprise is role of Scott Robinson.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the iconic Australian soap opera that brought fame to Donovan and Kylie Minogue.One of the highest rating moments on Australian television was when Donovan’s character Scott married Kylie’s character Charlene.
After leaving Neighbours, Donovan joined the Stock Aitken Waterman fun factory and churned out non-stop dance hits like ‘Too Many Broken Hearts’ and ‘Sealed With A Kiss’ in the 80s.
He also had the 4th biggest selling single of the year in the UK with his duet with Kylie ‘Especially For You.
The Neighbours thing isn’t going to happen. Donovan says he is too busy and has been asked many times before and has always said no.
