Poor Chris Brown. If choosing to release a new album at the same time as his former girlfriend Rihanna isn`t stupid enough, then trying to cover up the incident now is just career suicide.
Brown has attacked Rihanna again, this time verbally. The celebrity thug says details of his brutal attack on Rihanna “should remain a private matter between us”.Chris Brown made the following statement in response to Rihanna’s interview on 20/20.
“While I respect Rihanna’s right to discuss the specific events of February 8, I maintain my position that all of the details should remain a private matter between us. I do appreciate her support and wish her the best. I am extremely sorry for what I did, and I accept accountability for my actions.
“At this point, I am taking the proper steps to learn about me and grow from my mistakes. I only hope that others in similar situations can learn from our experience as well. Abuse of any kind is always wrong. The rest I leave it to God.”
In the 20/20 interview, Rihanna gave graphic details of what happened on the night. “He had no soul in his eyes,” she said. “He was clearly blacked out”. The 20-year old pop star said Brown had her in a headlock and bit her on the ear and fingers.
Brown is now serving five years probation, one year of domestic violence counseling and six months of community service.
