Steve Conte, the guitarist for New York Dolls, will release his solo project Steve Conte and the Crazy Truth album in November.
The album release will coincide with the next UK tour by New York Dolls, getting underway in Cambridge on December 2, 2009.This year, New York Dolls were one of the must-see acts at SXSW in Austin. They played at the music conference and festival to promote the release of their 4th album ‘Cause I Sez So’, produced by Todd Rundgren.
The Crazy Truth is Conte’s other band. The Conte album features special guest appearances from The Dolls lead singer David Johansen and members of Bowie, Madonna, Beyonce and Stevie Wonder’s bands.
