It has been a while since MTV popped out an `Unplugged` show but Katy Perry was up for one.
EMI will release Katy Perry ‘MTV Unplugged’ on CD and DVD in November.Katy recorded the MTV Unplugged performance at MTV’s Times Square studios in New York on July 22, 2009.
She included a cover of Fountains of Wayne’s ‘Hackensack’ in the show and a never before original tiled ‘Brick By Brick’.
Unplugged was a regular feature on MTV in the 90s. Eric Clapton, Tony Bennett, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney and Nirvana are just some of the artists who did the show.
Katy Perry ‘MTV Unplugged’ will be released on November 13.
