In truly exciting news, The Decemberists have announced sideshows to their string of Big Day Out performances.
The band, who hail from indie central, Portland, OR will be heading to Australia for the first time in support of their fifth album ‘The Hazards of Love’.After constantly touring around the US, the band have garnered support for their unique twist on the simple pop song, at times drifting off into 18 minute epics with more instruments than you can poke a piano accordion at, and have refined their live shows into spectacles not to be missed.
